First and foremost – congrats to everyone who raced this weekend….time to brag about your bling….

As you see the by the columns below, calories burned and what it takes to work off our unwanted calories. I thought you’d get a great chuckle (or shock) either way, wanted to pass this information along to you.

Tuesday, we’ll have the following:

  • 4 point starts (we’ll explain that at tomorrow’s session)

We use 200 muscles to take 1 step, yes, that’s hard to believe, now think about the repetitions our muscles must go through for steps we take on a daily basis.

Here are your 5 W’s for this week.
What are we running this week?
  • Tuesday:
    • 5k group – 3-5 miles
      • Both groups will do four 4 point starts + tempos
    • 10k group – 4-5 miles
  • Saturday:
    • 5k group – 4 miles
    • 10k group – 5-6 miles
  • If it’s worth it —- then it’s worth the work…remember, holidays are approaching and you are already getting a head start to staying fit.

Why?

  • Because Millions of capillaries open up to feed your muscle fibers making us healthy and strong and you’re working on your base building for your health and personal performance.
Who is coming to practice on Tuesday & Saturday?
  • Coach Tina will see you on Tuesday.
  • Coach Amy and Juli will take the lead on Saturday
