Quick update, then the reason why the Gurney to Finish Line Journey (G2FLJ).

One week ago, I did not imagine that I’d be as mobile as I am that that my system would be this receptive to PT.  Moving around on crutches is a bit of a hassle, but being able to put a little weight on my right leg makes it easier than I expected.  PT is amazing – I had no expectation that my body could accomplish the things we do in PT at 1 week out.  The exercises are a bit humbling and exhausting, but the experience is amazing.

The reason for G2FLJ is because several of our Balanced Running family have been stricken by something taking them out of action in 2018, and are determined to cross finish lines in 2019.

I’m not going to list the Balanced Runners, I don’t want to forget anyone and I have not asked for their permission.  However, I encourage anyone taking on a Gurney to Finish Line Journey of their own to weigh-in and share what they would like to along the way.

Gurney to Finish Line is not a a specific race or event.  As a matter of fact, the journey to any finish line, and as many as wanted.  For me personally, my journey includes the Kennesaw Grand Prix Series and a Spartan Trifecta.
