Hello Balanced Runners!

 

Welcome to 2019!  Hope the year has treated you well so far and looking forward to running our way through it. As in the past, we start the year with rehab/prehab training.  The objective is to work on balancing out any asymmetries we developed last year and preparing our bodies for a year of successful running.

 

Looks like tomorrow may be a little chilly.  Don’t worry, we’ll start off in a way that warms us up quickly J  Given that it will literally be freezing, pack warm clothes to change into after we run and bring a mat or towel, we’re going to “hit the deck” tomorrow morning. Here is our planned “Run of the Day” (ROD).

 

Warm-up: Range of Motion (ROM) Routine

Hip Mobility

Workout: 20 min Easy Run/Run-Walk/Walk
Strength: Rehab/Prehab Routine
Stretching: Stretching Routine
