Hello Balanced Runners,

First off – congrats to all BR athletes that have run races over the last couple of weekends.  I know a few miles were covered and many memories were made.  Tomorrow we are back at Swift-Cantrell at 07:30AM – rain or shine.  Please bring a mat if you don’t want to be on the wet ground tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow we re-engage our Speed Strength and Agility training.  This includes drills and speed work.  Here is the plan for tomorrow morning:

Warm-up:

  • ROM routing
  • Hip mobility

Workout:

  • Drills:
    • High knees
    • Butt kicks
    • Advanced butt kicks
    • Carioca
    • A-skip
    • B-skip
  • Mona (2 x 90 sec/ 2 x 60 sec / 4 x 30 sec / 4 x 15 sec)

Durability:

  • Stretching routine
