Hey Balanced Runners!
You already know that tomorrow’s RUN FOR WOUNDED HEROES 5K is the capstone for Kennesaw Parks and Recreation’s Runner Development Program summer session. As we’ve focused on speed, strength, and form for the last several weeks I know you’re ready.
Just to make the race more fun, Balanced Running has a challenge for all of our athletes – beat Coach Dale (that’s me) to the finish line. In the spirit of honoring our Wounded Heroes through PT (that’s physical training), I’ll stop – drop – & do 20 at each mile marker. All Balanced Running athletes that cross the finish line before me will receive a Balanced Running schwag bag.
So hydrate, get your rest and see you at tomorrow’s race.
