How many miles does it take to run off that Halloween candy?

Fun Facts

Regarding Tricks & treats. The numbers below show approximately what it takes for 160 pound person to “work off” the Halloween Candy (which is no trick) when it comes to consuming the “treats”. So this is one reason why I usually purchase candies I won’t eat. (ok, so I may break down and have a mini).

Let me have the numbers….

Below are examples of candies – that equal the “run off” in miles or steps~

BITE SIZED Chocolate Candy:

  • i.e. Snickers; 3 Musketeers; Butterfingers, etc.
    • =1/2 mile / 1100 steps

FUN SIZED Chocolate Candy:

  • Snickers; 3; Musketeers; Butterfingers; 1 Regular Peanut Butter Cup, etc.
    • = 1 mile / 2200 steps

FULL SIZE Chocolate Candy:

  • Snickers; 2 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, etc. (full size bars)
    • = 2.75 miles / 5800 steps

If all else fails, purchase candy you will not eat so you won’t be tempted to indulge in lots of chocolate.
